The Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker has a capacity to produce up to 1,350 lbs of Pearl Ice in a 24-hour period. To operate this model, a remote condenser unit like the RGA1061-HM is required. It takes 12 gallons of potable water and 4 kWh of power to produce 100 lbs of nugget cube ice with this machine. The ice maker is wired to use 208-230v/60/1-ph power at 17.4 amps.
 
 In hot-arid climates, using self-contained air-cooled units and water-cooled units is not efficient. Air-cooled units release heat into the location where the ice maker is installed, while water-cooled units consume large amounts of water. The best solution to address these issues is to use a remote condenser unit.
