The Ice-O-Matic Ice Maker has a maximum ice production capacity of 1,053 lbs per day, tested under ideal conditions. It requires the use of the GRC1061 remote condenser. For every 100 lbs of nugget cube ice produced, it consumes 12 gallons of water and 4.2 kWh of power. The unit operates on 208-230v/60/1-ph with a current draw of 15.2 amps. It has received ENERGY STAR certification.
 
 In hot and arid climates where water is expensive, water-cooled ice makers and self-contained air-cooled models are not efficient to operate. Air-cooled units release heat into the surrounding area, while water-cooled units require a significant amount of water. Therefore, the remote condenser unit is the preferred choice for operators in such areas.
 
 The auger in this unit is equipped with industrial-grade roller bearings, ensuring smooth and efficient operation for many years. The gearbox that powers the auger is protected by the SystemSafe monitoring system. If the gearbox experiences excessive load, the ice maker will automatically stop to prevent damage.
