The Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine is part of the Elevation Series™ and is a modular cube ice maker. It has a water cooled condenser and can produce up to 586 lbs of ice every 24 hours, assuming ideal water and air temperatures. To produce 100 lbs of ice, it requires 181 gallons of water for cooling the condenser, 20 gallons of water to freeze into ice, and 4.7 kWh of power. The ice produced is half-dice in size and can be used for various cooling tasks such as ice displays and serving with beverages. The Plastic Food Zone of this ice machine is made of BPA-free parts that can be easily maintained without any tools due to their snap-together construction. These plastic parts are also recyclable and dishwasher safe. Key components are coated with Agion® to prevent bacteria growth and the strange taste it can add to ice. This protective coating also allows the ice machine to go for longer periods between cleanings. Some standard features of the Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine include a space-saving design, the ability to produce up to 620 lbs of ice per day, and a Universal Smart Harness™ control board that simplifies installation and servicing. The machine also has a unique dual exhaust system that increases installation flexibility and reduces the potential for obstructed exhaust. In terms of energy efficiency, this ice machine is up to 20% more energy efficient than other models and exceeds the new 2018 DOE regulations. It is also environmentally friendly, with BPA-free plastic and recyclable parts. Sanitation is made easy with one-touch controls for sanitization and descaling, BPA-free snap-in, snap-out dishwasher-safe components, and built-in Agion® antimicrobial protection. The machine also has a smart LED light that indicates machine status and when cleaning is required.
