The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a rectangular, non-insulated unit made of stainless steel construction. It comes with a drain and can be mounted either on top or bottom. The well is designed to hold full-size pans and has a low wattage, making it energy efficient. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
The standard features of this heated well include EZ locking hardware for easy installation, options for low, standard, or high wattage, easy access to heating elements and thermostats for servicing, and the ability to mount accessories for combustible countertops. The well also has a superior thermostat control system that reads the actual temperature and adds heat only when necessary. It can be equipped with or without a drain, with the drain having a flat screen for easy cleaning and level pan placement. The controls feature a separate power switch and temperature dial for maintaining preset temperatures.
There are several options available for this heated well, including different control box configurations, control box bezels in various designer colors, and the option for a left or right water fill hole. Additional power supply lead wire can also be purchased separately.
Various accessories are available for this heated well, including rectangular and round stainless steel food pans in different sizes, hinged and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets, adapters to convert the well to hold round pans, support bars in different lengths, and mounting kits for thick or combustible countertops. Additionally, there are ball valves and gate valves available for units with drains, as well as a heated well remote handle specifically designed for ¾" drains.
