The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a rectangular, full-size pan that is insulated and made of stainless steel and aluminized construction. It features a drain and can be top or bottom mounted. The well also includes a remote thermostat with a separate power switch. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
Some of the standard features of the Hatco insulated Built-In Heated Wells include a larger drain with a flat drain screen, more consistent holding temperatures, heavier stainless steel construction, and an easier-to-service design for quick component changes. The well also has EZ locking hardware for quick installation.
The well is available in low, standard, and high watt options. It can be mounted on the top or bottom and has accessory mounting kits for combustible countertops. There are also adapters available to convert the full-size well to hold round pans.
The design of the well allows for easy access and quick changes of the element or thermostat. It has thicker stainless steel construction and solid brazed joints for durability. The well also has a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial for easy operation.
Options available at the time of purchase include a mounting bracket for insulated bottom mount, an optional cord for top mount models and bottom mount with autofill models, and additional power supply lead wire. Control box options include a standard thermostat with a 6' capillary, WM control assembly replacement, ITC control with large control, and a larger recessed thermostatic control.
The control box bezel is available in designer colors such as black, navy blue, warm red, gray granite, white granite, hunter green, and antique copper.
Accessories for the heated well include rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in various heights, round food pans in different sizes, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets in full-size and half-size, an adapter to convert warmers to hold round pans, mounting kits for thick and combustible countertops, support bars in different lengths, and valves and handles for units with drains.
