The Drop-In Heated Well is a rectangular unit with a capacity for (4) 1/3 size pans. It features a top-mounted design and a remote thermostat with a separate power switch. The construction is made of stainless steel and has high wattage. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
The standard features of this heated well include convenient 4/3-sized wells that can hold heated foods at safe serving temperatures. The unit offers a larger drain, more consistent holding temperatures, heavier stainless steel construction, and an easier-to-service design for quick component changes. The remote thermostat allows for precise temperature control.
The heated well is available in low, standard, and high watt options. It comes in rectangular 4/3-size wells, with the choice of uninsulated or insulated models. Accessory mounting kits for combustible countertops are also available.
The design of the heated well allows for easy access and quick changes of the element or thermostat. It can be adapted to hold round pans with the use of accessory adapters. The unit can be purchased with or without a drain, with the drain option offering easier cleaning with a larger drain and flat screen.
The thermostat controls of the heated well are superior, reading the actual temperature of the well and adding heat only if needed. The controls feature a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial, allowing for preset temperatures to be maintained.
There are several options available for the control box, including different thermostat types and control assemblies. The control box bezel is available in various designer colors. The heated well can also be purchased with a left or right water fill hole, with the front being the standard option.
Additional power supply lead wire is available in one-foot increments. The unit comes with one foot of lead wire, but conduit is not included.
Various accessories are available for the heated well, including rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans, round food pans, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets, plated wire trivets, support bars, ball valves and gate valves for units with drains, mounting kits for combustible countertops, and a heated well remote handle for units with ¾" drains. There is also an adapter available to convert the warmer to hold round pans.
