The Drop-In Hot/Cold Well is a versatile unit that combines the technology of Hatco's Heated and Refrigerated Wells. It can accommodate four full-size pans and comes with a remote mountable panel and a 60" power supply whip. The electronic temperature control allows for easy adjustment of set points to keep your food items at the desired temperatures. The unit also features auto defrost, automatic water fill, and a condensing unit. It is equipped with pan support bars and has a power of 4000 watts and 1/3 HP. The transition between operating modes of the Drop-In Hot/Cold Well takes approximately 60 minutes or more. The remote control box can be conveniently mounted to a front counter for easy access. The unit can accommodate a variety of pans, including full-size, half-size, or third-size, and is available in a two through six pan configuration.
In cold mode, the Drop-In Hot/Cold Well functions similarly to Hatco's CWB Cold Well. It includes auto defrost, easy serviceability, optimal insulation, and an efficient condenser. It also comes with cold mode pan supports. In hot mode, the unit utilizes the FR2 Hydro-Heater with "free flow" technology for efficient and safe operation. It includes a drain, auto-fill, and a hot mode frame for pan support.
Optional features include three-phase wiring and an additional four-year parts only warranty on the compressor. Accessories such as a flush hose, cleaning brush, stopper, adapter, and pan supports for drop-in refrigerated wells are also available. Rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in various heights are offered as well.
