It can accommodate up to 6 full-size pans and comes with a remote mountable panel and a 60" power supply whip. The electronic temperature control allows for easy adjustment of set points to keep your food items at optimum temperatures. The unit also features auto defrost, automatic water fill, and a condensing unit. It is made in the USA and has a power rating of 6000 watts and 1/2 HP. The well is cULus certified and comes with pan support bars.
The Hot/Cold Combination Drop-In Well is perfect for buffet lines or catering needs. It can keep hot foods at safe serving temperatures in the morning and switch to pre-chilled food products during lunch hour peaks. The transition between operating modes of the Drop-In Hot/Cold Well takes approximately 60 minutes or more. The remote control box can be mounted to a front counter for easy access. The well can house a variety of pans, including full-size, half-size, or third-size, and is available in a two through six pan configuration.
In Cold Mode, the well functions similar to Hatco's CWB Cold Well, with auto-defrost, easy serviceability, optimal insulation, and an efficient condenser. It includes cold mode pan supports.
In Hot Mode, the well utilizes the FR2 Hydro-Heater with "free flow" technology for efficient and safe operation. It has a longer life and includes a drain, auto-fill, and hot mode frame for pan support.
Optional features include three-phase wiring and an additional four-year parts only warranty on the compressor.
Accessories available for the well include a flush hose, cleaning brush, stopper, adapter, and pan supports for drop-in refrigerated wells.
The well is made of stainless and aluminized steel housing and has an electronic control panel with a digital temperature display, drain, auto-fill, power light, and a 3-position rocker switch for hot, off, and cold modes.
