The Glo-Ray® Heated Stone Shelf is a portable unit that measures 72" x 18" x 2-1/2" and has a temperature range of 100-200°F. It is cULus and UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified. This shelf is made in the USA. The heated stone shelf is made of food-safe materials and comes in three decorative stone colors. It is designed to hold food hot while blending in with your decor, making it ideal for buffet lines or hors d'oeuvre displays. The shelf can be used as a portable unit or built-in. It is constructed with approved food-safe materials and has an adjustable thermostatically-controlled heated base. The portable unit comes with a 6' cord and plug, which are located on the side, center of the base. The shelf features a blanket-type foil element that creates uniform heat across the entire simulated stone surface. The GRSSB models match the Hot/Cold and Cold only Built-In Shelf models for a fully integrated look. Built-in models are designed for use in metallic counters, but for other surfaces, you should verify that the material is suitable for temperatures up to 200°F. The portable models come with rubber feet, while the larger models have 4" legs. Built-in models include a control box with a 3' conduit between the heated shelf and the control box, as well as a 6' cord and plug. Please note that the simulated stone material can cause damage to the counter due to heat from the warmer. There are several options available at the time of purchase, including different colors for the simulated stone shelf and the flush mount control bezel box. You can also choose to have adjustable legs instead of rubber feet for certain models. Additional options include different colors for the flush mount thermostatic control box, a 90º conduit connector on the main unit, a recessed top where the heated stone surface is below the surrounding surface, and different lengths of conduit for the flush mount ITC control box.
