The Glo-Ray® Heated Display Case is a countertop unit with a glass front design. It features a single shelf with three pans and a humidity unit with a 3 qt. capacity. The case is made of stainless steel and aluminum and comes with 4" legs. It has a power of 1600w and is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified. The heated display case is designed to keep hot food at a "just-made" taste and temperature for longer periods of time. It uses an exclusive infrared heat pattern and a heated base to achieve this. The cool base construction minimizes heat transfer to the exterior, keeping it cool to the touch. The case has a metal sheathed element that directs heat from above and a thermostatically-controlled base that conducts heat from below. The Dual Shelf model has an additional upper holding and display area with independent temperature control. All models come with adjustable legs, a 6' cord and plug, and a pan rail (or pan skirt on humidified models). The infrared top heat is pre-focused to the outer edges of the holding surface where heat loss is the greatest. The case also features shatter-resistant incandescent lights to enhance product display and protect food from bulb breakage. Options available at the time of purchase include different designer colors (non-standard colors are non-returnable), pan skirts instead of pan rails, sliding doors or flip-up doors instead of fixed glass customer panels, mirrored glass sliding doors instead of rear sliding doors, halogen bulbs instead of standard display lights, and flip-up doors on the control side instead of glass sliding doors.
