The Drop-In Slim Frost Top is a 54-15/16"L refrigeration unit that can accommodate (2) full-size sheet pans. It features a lighted on/off rocker switch and an electronic adjustable temperature control that can be mounted to either side of the condensing unit or remotely up to 4' from the unit. The unit also includes a 1" NPT drain and is self-contained refrigeration. It is cULus certified and made in the USA. The Hatco Drop-In Frost Tops are designed to keep pre-chilled beverages, snacks, hors d'oeuvres, and side dishes cool and ready to serve. They are available in a Slim Line Series, which provides wider access to customers, regardless of the sneeze guards. The unit comes with a 1" NPT brass drain (excluding FTB-1) and can accommodate full-size and half-size sheet pans. It can be matched with the Hatco line of Heated Wells for an integrated look. The refrigerant line is long and flexible, allowing for easy service and the ability to pull out the condensing unit. The Frost Top is available in various configurations, including 1-, 2-, and 3-pan models, as well as 2- and 3-pan slim configurations. The condensing unit, mounted on the center of the unit, can rotate 180° in some models. The unit features an advanced electronic controller that activates auto-defrost, which is programmed at the customer location. The cold wall construction is NSF 7 approved and uses R-404A refrigerant to keep food products cold without drying them out. The mobile condensing unit can be moved in increments of 3" (76 mm) in the FTB-2 and 6.5" (165 mm) in the FTB-3, -S2, -S3 models. The electronic adjustable temperature control can be mounted on either side of the condensing unit or remotely mounted up to 4' (1219 mm) from the unit, but it cannot be mounted over the condensing coil. Options available at the time of purchase include an additional four-year parts only warranty on the compressor (not available for export voltages).
