The Drop-In Refrigerated Well is a top mount unit that can hold (2) pan sizes. It features electronic temperature control, pan support bars for full-size pans, and a condenser unit that can be rotated. The well is insulated with drain and has an aluminized steel housing and stainless steel bezel. It has a 1/4hp motor and is cULus certified. The well is made in the USA. The well is designed to keep pre-chilled food products at safe serving temperatures. Its unique top angled inside wall design allows cold air to effectively blanket the food, keeping it optimally cold and fresh. The electronic control assembly can be mounted to either side of the condensing unit or remotely mounted up to four feet away. The well has a 1" NPT drain for easy cleaning and environmentally friendly insulation throughout. It can hold full-size pans in configurations ranging from one to six pans. It matches the Hatco line of Heated Wells for a fully integrated look. The well has optimal insulation on the sides and bottom to ensure better cold retention. The well has an auto-defrost feature activated through an advanced electronic controller. It is NSF 7 approved and uses R-404A refrigerant to keep food cold without drying it out. The condensing unit is adjustable and can rotate 90o or 180o for easy venting adjustments and flexibility during installation. The mobile condensing unit can be moved in increments from end to center on the four-, five-, and six-pan units. The well is easy to service with a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, and a receiver. It has a long, flexible refrigerant line for easy access to the condensing unit during service. Optional accessories include a Slant Kit to give the Cold Wells a 5° tilt and an additional four-year parts only warranty on the compressor at the time of unit purchase. Additional accessories available include pan support bars, stainless steel food pans in various sizes, trivets, and a perforated false bottom.
