The HyperSteam™ Convection Steamer is an electric, table top steamer with one compartment. Each compartment can hold three 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" deep pans. The steamer is stackable and made of stainless steel construction. It has dual water connections and is cUL, UL, and NSF certified. The steamer is made in the USA. The steamer cavity and cabinet are constructed of stainless steel and have removable side panels for easy access to internal components. The steamer door is also stainless steel with a strong continuous hinge and can be reversed for left or right swing. The door is air insulated and has a replaceable seal. The exterior of the cabinet, including the door, has a #3 uniform finish. The interior of the cavity is polished stainless steel. The control panel face plates are smudge-resistant polyester film for easy cleaning and a sleek appearance. The steamer is UL and C.U.L. listed, meeting safety standards in the US and Canada. It is also NSF-listed for sanitation requirements. The unit allows for easy deliming of the steam generator through an access port on top, without the need for tools or a service call. It also has a push button auto-delime feature. The steamer controls include an ON-OFF power button, a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer with a continuous steam setting, and a READY light that indicates when the cavity is ready for steaming. The unit also has an autoDelime button for initiating the deliming cycle. The steamer cavity has a powerful side-mounted blower that increases steam velocity and ensures efficient steam distribution between loaded pans. The steam generator delivers 2.6 KW power input per 2-1/2" deep steam pan. The heat-up time to READY is 8-10 minutes or less under normal conditions. The steamer has an electric-heated, rear-mounted steam generator that provides atmospheric steam to the chamber at a temperature of approximately 212°F. The steam generator has an electric water sensor, and the 8KW electric heating element is replaceable from the side. The unit requires 208, 240, or 480 Volt, single or three-phase electric service. It also requires two 3/4" NH cold water supply lines and a 1-1/2" free venting drain. To minimize service problems, it is recommended to use the Groen PureSteem™ Water Treatment System
