The Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base is a self-contained refrigeration unit that measures 60" in width and has two sections. It features two 19" drawers and two 27" drawers, all of which are removable and come with a 10-year warranty for parts. The exterior of the unit is made of stainless steel, and it stands on 6" stainless steel legs. The unit operates on 115v/60/1-ph power with 8.2 amps. Standard features of the Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base include adjustable legs, a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, a center located flush-mounted handle, and a stainless steel exterior front and sides. The compressor is tropicalized to withstand temperatures up to 100°F (38°C), and there is a front face mounted scroll type thermometer for easy temperature monitoring. The unit also has a vertically mounted blower coil and uses HFC-404A refrigerant. The compressor housing is located on the right end of the unit. Optional features for the Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base include casters and doors and tray racks to accommodate sheet pans instead of drawers. However, this option is not available for the 32" drawers. There is also an option for extra deep drawers without a mullion to accommodate 6" deep hotel pans (150mm deep Gn 1/1 pans). The specifications of the Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base state that it is designed to be exclusively used under US Range Heavy Duty Cuisine Series modular tops. The exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior door front and cabinet sides are made of ABS. The interior top, rear, and bottom are made of stainless steel. The unit has a Santoprene magnetic door gasket and a galvanized steel bottom and back. It is insulated with CFC-free foam. The roller drawer assembly is removable and made of stainless steel with self-lubricating rollers. The refrigeration system uses HFC-404A refrigerant and is equipped with a condensate evaporator. The unit comes with a 6' cord and plug (North American models only come with NEMA 5-15 plug.) and has a vertically mounted blower coil on the inside cabinet. It also comes with a scroll type thermometer and 6" adjustable legs as standard features.
