The Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base is a self-contained refrigeration unit that measures 108" W and is divided into four sections. It features four 27" drawers and four 32" drawers, all made of stainless steel. The unit also has a stainless steel exterior and 6" stainless steel legs. Please note that this base is only available when ordered with Cuisine Series modular cook tops. The base comes with several standard features, including 6" adjustable legs, a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, and a center located, flush mounted handle. The exterior front and sides are made of stainless steel, and the compressor is tropicalized to withstand temperatures up to 100°F. The unit also has a front face mounted scroll type thermometer and a vertically mounted blower coil with HFC-404A refrigerant. The compressor housing is located on the right end of the unit. The drawers of the base have a removable track assembly and come with a 10-year warranty for parts. They are equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel drawer slides and bearings. The compressor has a 5-year warranty for replacement parts, with the first year covering parts and labor. The interior of the base features ABS door fronts and cabinet sides, as well as a stainless steel top, rear, and bottom. The standard drawers have a mullion between them and can accommodate 12"x 20" x 4" deep hotel pans. The refrigerator units have a hot gas condensate evaporator, while the freezer units have an electric condensate evaporator. Optional features for the base include casters and doors and tray racks to accommodate sheet pans instead of drawers (not available for 32" drawers). Extra deep drawers without a mullion are also available to accommodate 6" deep hotel pans. The specifications of the base include a stainless steel exterior front and sides, ABS interior door front and cabinet sides, and a stainless steel interior top, rear, and bottom. The base also has a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, a galvanized steel bottom and back, and CFC-free foamed-in-place insulation. The stainless steel roller drawer assembly is removable and comes with self-lubricating rollers. The refrigeration system uses HFC-404A refrigerant and includes a condensate evaporator. The base comes with a 6' cord and plug (North American models only come with NEMA 5-15 plug) and has a vertically mounted blower coil
