The DuraPan™ Tilting Skillet is a gas-powered cooking appliance with a 40-gallon capacity. It features a modular open base and is constructed with stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. The skillet comes standard with an electric tilt mechanism, a spring-assisted cover, gallon markings, and electronic spark ignition. It also includes a food strainer and stainless steel level adjustable feet. The skillet has a power output of 130,000 BTU and is CE and NSF certified.
Some of the standard features of the DuraPan™ Tilting Skillet include a leg or modular base, an anti-splash pouring lip, electronic spark ignition, and power tilt with the option for hydraulic hand tilt. It also has a high limit safety device set at 475°F, and all controls are serviceable from the front of the unit. The skillet has a high-efficiency heating system with even heat distribution, and its controls and electrical connections are splash-proof and water-tight.
The DuraPan™ Tilting Skillet is designed with a spring-assist cover that has an adjustable vent and a full-width handle. It has two pilot lights, one indicating power on and the other indicating temperature cycling. The skillet is equipped with four stainless steel, level adjustable feet that are rear flanged for bolting. Its cooking surface is made of stainless steel clad 5/8" material that is guaranteed against warping.
The skillet has an on/off switch, a thermostat knob, and recessed pilots to avoid breakage. Its pans are made of stainless steel and have coved corners, as well as gallon and liter markings. The skillet has a full 30/40 gallon capacity rating to the bottom of the pouring lip. It also features an adjustable electronic thermostat that controls the temperature from 100°F to 425°F.
The DuraPan™ Tilting Skillet has a fast heat-up and recovery time, preheating in 11 minutes and reaching full capacity from cold to boiling in 60 minutes.
