The PowerPan™ Tilting Skillet is a gas-powered cooking appliance with a 40-gallon capacity. It features a bead blasted cooking surface and a 10º tilt cooking feature, which can be easily adjusted manually. The skillet also includes a spring-assisted cover with a vent, gallon and liter markings, and a food strainer. It is constructed with stainless steel and has an open leg frame. The skillet has a power output of 200,000 BTU and is CE and NSF certified.
The skillet comes with several standard features, including splash-proof controls and construction, an electronic spark ignition system, and a cord and plug for 115-volt controls. It is approved by AGA, CSA, CE, and NSF. The skillet can be equipped with an optional 2" tangent draw-off valve. It also has a spring-assist cover with a full-width handle and vent, a low 35" rim height for easy operation and cleaning, and an open base design for easy maintenance.
Other standard features include gallon and liter markings, a vented spring-assist cover, and a 10º cooking feature that allows the unit to be tilted without turning off the power. The skillet has an adjustable electronic thermostat that accurately controls the temperature from 100º to 450º F. Its cooking surface is made of 5/8" stainless steel bead blasted material, which prevents warping and sticking of food.
The skillet is equipped with an exclusive ultra-efficient power burner gas combustion system with automatic ignition. It is available in 30 and 40-gallon models with an open frame design. The pan has a full capacity to the bottom of the pouring lip. It has an easy-to-turn manual hand tilt with an enclosed permanently lubricated gearbox. A power tilt with manual override is also available as an option.
The skillet has dual power settings, with 90,000 and 125,000 BTU for the 30-gallon model and 160,000 and 200,000 BTU for the 40-gallon model. This provides superior heat-up and recovery. The pan is constructed with durable 12-gauge, 304 stainless steel, with a 5/8" mild steel clad bottom and a 1/16" stainless steel plate for even temperature distribution.
Optional accessories for the skillet include poaching pans, a faucet bracket, vegetable steamer baskets, casters, a power tilt with manual override, a protective control cover, a
