The kettle/mixer is a direct, sweep/fold agitator with a working capacity of 125 gallons. It features a 2/3 steam jacket design, tilt-type mechanism, and variable speed control. The kettle/mixer also includes a hot and cold water faucet, a 3" butterfly draw-off valve, and an open leg base. It is constructed with stainless steel for durability.
Standard features of the kettle/mixer include a large pouring lip, a condensate valve with an insulated handle, and a safety device to prevent high-speed starts. It also has gallon markings stamped into the scraper shaft, level adjustable solid feet for floor bolting, and a factory-installed chrome-plated steam control kit. The kettle/mixer operates on standard 208-240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire power supply.
The kettle/mixer is NSF and ASME approved and comes with a 50 psi steam jacket rating on 40-100 gallon models and a 35 psi steam jacket rating on 125 & 150 gallon models. It has an infinitely variable scraper speed control from 0 to 40 rpm and a 3 horsepower hydraulic powered agitator, scraper, and bridge lift. All plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics are enclosed in stainless steel consoles.
The kettle/mixer features a 10 gauge stainless steel hydraulically operated mixer bridge and removable nylon blades that scrape the entire jacketed surface. The tilt mechanism is made of roller bearings and case hardened self-locking worm and segment gear. It has an infinitely variable ratio between the scraper and agitator, with the agitator rotating from 0 to 8 times the speed of the scraper.
Optional accessories for the kettle/mixer include covers, a pan carrier, a flow diverter, a food strainer, leg extensions, alternate draw-off valves, swing funnels, a pressure reducing valve, automatic water cooling, alternate mounting systems, power tilt (if not standard), accessories for connection to food pumps, a water meter built into the system, and product time/temperature controls and indicators. There is also an option for a type 316 stainless steel commercial kettle interior for high acid food products. The kettle accessory kit includes a 24 oz. ladle, a draw-off brush, a clean-up brush, a 36" kettle whip, a 36" kettle brush, and a 36" kettle paddle.
