The Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Convection Steamer is a countertop electric steamer that can hold three 12"x 20"x 2-1/2" deep pans. It features vacuum cooking and manual mechanical timer controls. The steamer does not require any water or drain connections. It has a power of 6kW and operates on 240/60/1ph with 25 amps. The steamer comes with a cord with NEMA L6-30P and is cULus and UL EPH Classified. The steamer has several standard features including a 90-minute timer, a heavy-duty door, a power on switch, and a field reversible door. It also has a 3-gallon water reservoir, a right-hand hinged door, and a front-mounted drain valve. The steamer does not require a water or drain line and does not need a hood in most areas. It has vacuum and temperature gauges, as well as heat, cook, and hold indicator lights. The steamer does not require deliming, descaling, or blowdowns and its heating element is not exposed to water. The warranty does not exclude any water quality issues. The steamer has low water protection with a light and buzzer, and its door can be opened quickly while cooking. It has various modes including fast cook, low temp, steam, and hold modes. The steamer also has a steam director that covers water for added safety. It has a selector switch for fast cook and thermostat modes, and the timer has continuous cook and hold mode settings. The steamer has multiple kilowatt outputs available to suit different cooking needs. Its cavity is made of durable reinforced 14 ga. 304 stainless steel.
