The Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Convection Steamer is a countertop electric steamer that can hold three 12"x 20"x 2-1/2" deep pans. It features vacuum cooking and manual mechanical timer controls. The steamer does not require any water or drain connections. It has a power of 10.0kW and operates on 208/60/3ph with 28 amps. The steamer comes with a cord with NEMA L15-30P and is cULus and UL EPH Classified. It is made in the USA and is ENERGY STAR® certified (availability may vary, contact the factory for more information).
Some of the standard features of the steamer include a 90-minute timer, heavy-duty door, power on switch, field reversible door, 3-gallon water reservoir, right-hand hinged door, front-mounted drain valve, and no water or drain line required. It also has a super duty heater configuration, 5' power cord and plug, and does not require a hood in most areas. The steamer is equipped with vacuum and temperature gauges, heat, cook, and hold indicator lights, and does not require deliming, descaling, or blowdowns. The heating element is not exposed to water, and there are no water quality exclusions to the warranty. The steamer has low water protection with a light and buzzer, a quick-release door to open while cooking, and various modes such as fast cook, low temp, steam, and hold. It also has a steam director that covers water for added safety, a fast cook and thermostat mode selector switch, and continuous cook and hold mode settings on the timer. The steamer cavity is made of durable reinforced 14 ga. 304 stainless steel. It features an exclusive and patented Countertop Convection Steamer low-temperature steam cooking mode and patented vacuum technology for efficiency and faster cooking.
Optional features for the steamer include a drain kit, marine package, military package, 180-minute timer, perforated cooking shelf, one-year extended warranty, 4" full-size drain pan, steamer door crack open feature, double stacking stand conversion kit, 4" adjustable bullet feet or flanged feet, corrections package - tamper resistant, stainless steel support stand with casters, bullet or flange feet, and a chain package with factory preset hold temperature and controls behind the panel.
