The Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Convection Steamer is a countertop electric steamer that can hold three 12"x 20"x 2-1/2" deep pans. It features vacuum cooking and manual mechanical timer controls. This steamer does not require any water or drain connections. It has a power of 6kW and operates on 208/60/1ph with 29 amps. The steamer comes with a cord with NEMA L6-30P and is cULus and UL EPH Classified. It is also ENERGY STAR® certified, but availability may vary, so it is recommended to contact the factory for more information.
The steamer has several standard features including a 90-minute timer, a heavy-duty door, a power on switch, and a field reversible door. It also has a 3-gallon water reservoir, a right-hand hinged door, and a front-mounted drain valve. No water or drain line is required for this steamer. It has a super duty heater configuration and comes with a 5' power cord and plug. In most areas, no hood is required for installation. The steamer also has vacuum and temperature gauges, as well as heat, cook, and hold indicator lights.
The Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Convection Steamer does not require deliming, descaling, or blowdowns. Its heating element is not exposed to water, and there are no water quality exclusions to the warranty. It has low water protection with a light and buzzer, and the door can be opened quickly during cooking. The steamer has fast cook, low temp, steam, and hold modes, as well as a steam director that covers water for added safety. It also has a fast cook and thermostat mode selector switch, and continuous cook and hold mode settings on the timer.
The steamer offers multiple kilowatt outputs to suit different cooking needs. Its steamer cavity is made of durable reinforced 14 ga. 304 stainless steel.
