The tilting kettle is a direct steam, stainless steel kettle with a 60-gallon true working capacity. It has a 2/3 jacketed design and a 316 series stainless steel liner with an ellipsoidal bottom. The kettle features a manual tilt and a faucet bracket on the tilting console. It is constructed with stainless steel and has a tri-leg base. The steam control assembly operates at 50 psi and has a 1.0 BHP. Standard features of the kettle include embossed gallon/liter markings, a 50 psi steam jacket rating, and a one-year limited parts and labor warranty. The kettle can tilt forward 90 degrees to completely empty. It has tubular stainless steel legs with flanged feet and a bar rim. The kettle is floor mounted and has a stainless steel enclosure for the steam control valve, self-locking tilt mechanism, and faucet bracket. The kettle liner is made of type 316 stainless steel, while the exterior is made of type 304 stainless steel. Optional features include a second-year extended warranty and different sizes of tangent draw-off valves with perforated strainers. The correction facility package includes security type tamper-resistant fasteners and a stainless steel step cover over the draw-off valve with a chain. Accessories that can be purchased separately include a solid disk, pouring lip strainer, stainless steel whip, double pantry pot filler and vacuum breaker, double pantry washdown hose with vacuum breaker, single and double pantry lead-free faucets, a double pantry washdown hose with an add-on lead-free faucet, a spring assist hinged stainless steel cover, and a clean-up kit. The kettle also has the option for a perforated stainless steel basket assembly. The kettle is UL Classified for sanitation in accordance with ANSI/NSF Standard #4 and meets ASME code.
