If your restaurant kitchen uses natural gas and you're in the market for an infrared heated salamander, the 36IRB-N Salamander Broiler is a great unit to consider. This high-quality broiler from Vulcan is designed to be mounted on a range's reinforced back riser, but it can also be wall-mounted or placed on a countertop with optional hardware.

The unit features two ceramic infrared burners that can be adjusted independently for dual-zone operation. It has a standing pilot for added convenience, and two control knobs on either side that can set temperatures between 250°F and 800°F at the rack.

The rack measures 27-½" wide and 13" deep, and it is made with heavy-duty chrome plating. To catch crumbs and spills, there is a full-width pan under the grid that is easily removable. The grid's height can be adjusted to 6 positions for optimal results, and the knob remains cool to the touch.

The sides, front, and top of the broiler are made from stainless steel, making it easy to clean and maintain.

To fuel this salamander broiler, it requires a total input of 30,000 BTU/hr.

The broiler comes with standard features such as a standing pilot ignition system, a removable full-width spillage pan, and a one-year parts and labor warranty. It also has dual heat controls for zone cooking, a heavy-duty chrome plated grid, and a 3/4" gas connection and pressure regulator.
