The Scotsman HID540A-1 Meridian™ air cooled ice water dispenser is a touch-free infrared dispensing unit that produces H2 Nugget Ice. It has a production capacity of up to 500 lb/24 hours at 70°/50° (365 lb AHRI certified at 90°/70°) and a bin storage capacity of 40 lb. The dispenser features sealed maintenance-free bearings, a removable bin, and a removable air filter. It also has SmoothStream™ water dispensing, removable spouts and sink, and an enlarged 0.8" sink drain. The unit has a recessed utility chase, stainless steel evaporator and auger, and an enlarged 11" dispensing area. It has a USB software upgrade port and a unit-specific QR code. The exterior is made of stainless steel with AgION™ antimicrobial protection. The refrigerant used is R-404a. The unit comes with a 7.5’ power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug and operates at 115V/60/1 with 9.0 amps. It is cULus, NSF, and CE certified and is engineered and assembled in the USA.
