The KLB77812-C 8' x 12' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is a walk-in unit that provides businesses with a large amount of refrigerated space. With a 574 cu. ft. interior and a top mounted compressor, this cooler offers ample refrigerated storage options. The panels of this cooler are 4" thick and feature foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The exposed sides of each panel are made from 26 gauge steel coated with corrosion-resistant embossed stucco. Assembling the Kold Locker walk-in is easy, as each panel has female and male rails that mate together. The panels are then fully tightened with foamed-in-place cam locks, ensuring an airtight connection. The corners are sealed with panel gaskets that go around the outer perimeter without any breaks or cuts. The edge caps on the ceiling panels are foamed-in-place, preventing them from coming loose. This walk-in unit comes with a 26" wide door as standard, featuring a stepped profile that acts as a barrier against airflow. A 30" wide door kit with a stainless steel kick plate is available as a free upgrade. The two hinges can be installed on either the right or left side of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer ensures that the door is never left ajar, helping to keep cooling costs low. The door comes pre-hung on a 4' wide panel and includes a vapor proof LED light controlled by a switch connected to an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and a digital thermometer. The NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature keeps items inside secure, and a safety release is included to prevent workers from getting locked inside the walk-in. The temperature inside this walk-in is maintained between 35°F and 38°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System, which provides 6250 BTU/hr of cooling potential. The Enviro-Control electronic controller system makes it easy to adjust the temperature inside, as well as manually defrost and set an automatic defrost timer.
