The C5™ 8 Series Controlled Temperature Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with pass-thru capability. It is insulated and has universal wire slides that can hold either 8 pans measuring 18" x 26" or 16 pans measuring 12" x 20" x 2-1/2". The cabinet features one solid door and one double-pane tempered glass door. It has a top-mounted digital control with a thermostat that can adjust the temperature from 70°F to 200°F. The cabinet also has a low-temperature alarm and memory recall function. It is made of 304 stainless steel and has 5" casters for easy mobility. The cabinet operates on 120v/60/1-ph power and has a power rating of 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The C5 controller used in the cabinet is NDP capable and has an intuitive interface. It measures and displays the actual cabinet temperature and has a low-temperature alarm to ensure the cabinet is operating at the desired temperature. It also has a recall and memory function to easily view and save settings.
The cabinet is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components and robust construction. It has top-mounted controls for easier access, better readability, and to prevent damage.
The cabinet can be configured in different sizes and materials, including full height, 3/4 height, 1/2 height, and under counter options. It can have solid or clear doors, which are lift-off and field reversible.
Optional accessories include casters, small item shelf, rear push handle, control panel cover, different door latch options, different plug options, and stainless steel universal slide upgrades.
The cabinet has four built-in polymer handles, full perimeter insulation, high-temperature gaskets, self-closing and lift-off hinges, and a digital display for temperature control. The cabinet material is either type 304 stainless steel or aluminum, and the doors are fully insulated with double-panel construction or double-pane tempered glass. The cabinet also has universal wire slides and casters for easy mobility. The heat generation system is thermostatically controlled with a heating element, blower motor, and ducted air system.
