The C5™ 8 Series Controlled Temperature Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet made of insulated 304 stainless steel. It has a lip load design and can hold up to 17 (18" x 26") pans. The cabinet features double-pane tempered glass doors, top-mounted digital controls, a low-temperature alarm, and memory recall. It has a ducted heating system with a thermostat that can be set from 70°F to 200°F with 3" OC spacing. The cabinet is equipped with 5" casters for easy mobility. It operates on 120v/60/1-ph power with 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The C5 controller is NDP capable and has passive humidity capabilities with an integral water pan system. The cabinet is ENERGY STAR rated for energy efficiency. It is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components and robust construction. The top-mounted controls are user-friendly and easy to access and clean. The 8 Series solid-state controller provides accurate control over the internal temperature of the cabinet, ensuring safe and hot food. It has rapid heat-up and recovery times with a digitally controlled ducted heating system. The cabinet is available in various configurations, sizes, and door types.

Optional accessories include 6" casters, small item shelf, rear push handle, control panel cover, different door latch types, stainless steel legs, bumpers, drip troughs, and various plug types. Universal slide upgrades are also available for different height configurations.
The cabinet handles are built-in polymer handles, and it has a maximum temperature of 200°F. It is insulated with 2.5" thick high-density fiberglass and has high-temperature Santoprene gaskets. The self-closing, lift-off hinges have long-life nylon bearings. The cabinet is made of type 304 stainless steel or aluminum, with a polished or brushed exterior and a natural or interior. The doors are fully insulated solid doors or double-pane tempered glass doors. The cabinet features universal wire slides and casters with neoprene wheels. The heat generation system is thermostatically controlled with a heating element, blower motor, and ducted air system.
