The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, full-height cabinet with Blue Insulation Armour™. It features Dutch clear polycarbonate doors and a removable bottom mount control module. The thermostat can be set to a maximum temperature of 200°F. The cabinet has fixed wire slides on 3" centers, with a capacity to hold either 17 (18" x 26") or 32 (12" x 20" x 2-1/2") pans. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph, with a power output of 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The standard features of the C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet include three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, reliability and durability, fast heat-up and recovery, and a choice of colors for the Insulation Armour™. The Insulation Armour™ is a patented technology that retains heat, saves energy, and has a cool-to-touch exterior. The cabinet can be configured with either solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors, with the option of full length or dutch-style doors for full height cabinets. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold, all of which feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The control modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet also offers various options and accessories, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, a small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, a flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The specifications of the cabinet include High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™, a smooth polymer drip trough with catch pan, high temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, a polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release, field reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings, clear doors with an extruded aluminum frame and polycarbonate window, and solid doors fully insulated with fiberglass and aluminum panels
