The C5™ 3 Series Moisture Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, insulated cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It has a removable bottom mount control module with a thermostat that can reach up to 200°F and has moisture control. The cabinet can hold either (14) 18" x 26" pans or (26) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. It is equipped with universal wire slides that are adjustable on 1-1/2" increments and are spaced 3" apart. The cabinet is made of aluminum and has 5" casters, two of which have brakes. It operates on 120v/60/1-ph, has a power of 2000 watts, and draws 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with three slide styles to maximize holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers the option to choose between high wattage or low wattage models based on specific needs. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components that ensure a long life of worry-free use. It provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The cabinet is available in three standard colors: Red, Blue, or Gray. It features patented Insulation Armour™ technology, which retains heat, saves energy, and provides a cool-to-touch exterior. The insulation is made of durable polymer that is dent, impact, and stain resistant. The cabinet has molded-in hand holds for easy mobility.
There are two door options available: solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate. Full Height cabinets can be configured with full length or dutch-style doors. Clear doors provide visibility of the contents without losing heat.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The C5™ 3 Series offers various options and accessories, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
