The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, insulated cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 27 pans measuring 18" x 26" and has lip load slides on 1-1/2" centers. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 1440 watts and 12 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with various standard features such as three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, and reliability and durability built into its design. It also has fast heat-up and recovery capabilities through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The cabinet is available in different colors, with the Insulation Armour™ technology providing heat retention, energy savings, and a cool-to-touch exterior. The doors can be solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate, with full height cabinets offering the choice between full length or dutch-style doors. Clear doors allow visibility of the contents without losing heat.
The cabinet comes with three modules: Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. These modules feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
There are also various options and accessories available for the cabinet, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™, with a smooth polymer drip trough and catch pan. It has high-temperature, door-mounted Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release, and field reversible, double hinged, 180° swing hinges with long-life nylon bearings.
The clear doors have an extruded aluminum powder coated frame with a polycarbonate window, while the solid doors are fully insulated with fiberglass and aluminum panels. The cabinet is equipped with four casters
