The C5™ 3 Series Moisture Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door and grey insulation Armour™. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach up to 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 17 pans measuring 18" x 26" and has lip load slides on 1-1/2" centers. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet offers three slide styles for maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also comes in high wattage or low wattage models depending on the specific needs of the application. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components that ensure a long life of worry-free use. It provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The Insulation Armour™ technology used in the cabinet retains heat, saves energy, and keeps the exterior cool to touch. It is made of durable polymer construction that is dent, impact, and stain resistant. The cabinet features solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors. The clear doors provide visibility of the contents without losing heat.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The cabinet offers various options and accessories such as a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation Armour™ and has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan. It has high-temperature, door-mounted Santoprene gaskets and molded hand holds on all four corners. The latches are polymer high-strength magnetic pull latches with lever-action release. The hinges are field reversible, double hinged, with a 180° swing and long-life nylon bearings
