The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It features a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. The cabinet has universal wire slides on 3" centers, which can hold either (8) 18" x 26" pans or (16) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. It is made of aluminum and has 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet operates on 120v/60/1-ph power, with a wattage of 1440 and an amperage of 12. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with several standard features, including three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, and reliability and durability built into its design. It also has a fast heat-up and recovery system and is available in different colors. The cabinet's insulation technology, called Insulation Armour™, retains heat, saves energy, and has a cool-to-touch exterior. The doors can be either solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate, with full height cabinets offering the choice between full length or dutch-style doors. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold, all of which have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The cabinet also offers various options and accessories, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, a small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, a flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The specifications of the cabinet include High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) insulation armour, a smooth polymer drip trough with catch pan, high temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latches with lever-action release, field reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings, clear doors with an aluminum frame and polycarbonate window, and solid doors fully insulated with fiberglass and aluminum.
