The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. The cabinet has fixed wire slides on 3" centers, allowing for a pan capacity of either (8) 18" x 26" pans or (16) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 1440 watts and 12 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with several standard features, including three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, and reliability and durability built into every C5. It also has a fast heat-up and recovery system and is available in different colors. The cabinet features patented insulation technology called Insulation Armour™, which retains heat, saves energy, and provides a cool-to-touch exterior. The doors are available in solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate options.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The cabinet also offers various options and accessories, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation armour and has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan. It has high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release, and field reversible double hinged doors. The clear doors have an extruded aluminum frame with a polycarbonate window, while the solid doors are fully insulated with fiberglass and aluminum panels.
