The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door and grey Insulation Armour™. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 17 18" x 26" pans on lip load slides spaced 1-1/2" apart. It is made of aluminum and has 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet operates on 120v/60/1-ph and has a power rating of 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet has several standard features, including three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, reliability and durability, fast heat-up and recovery, and a choice of insulation Armour™ colors. The Insulation Armour™ technology retains heat, saves energy, and has a cool-to-touch exterior. The cabinet also has the option of solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors, with full height cabinets having the choice of full length or dutch-style doors. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold, all of which have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The control modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
There are also several options and accessories available for the cabinet, including a travel latch, 6" casters, a small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, a flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™ and has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan. It has high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latches with lever-action release, field reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings, and clear doors with an extruded aluminum frame and polycarbonate window. The solid doors are fully insulated with fiberglass and aluminum panels. The cabinet has four casters with neoprene wheels, two of which have brakes.
