The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with Blue Insulation Armour™. It has a clear polycarbonate door and a removable bottom mount control module. The thermostat can be set to a maximum temperature of 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 17 pans measuring 18" x 26" on lip load slides spaced 1-1/2" apart. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet offers three slide styles for maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It comes in high wattage or low wattage models to suit different needs. The C5™ is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components for long-lasting use. It provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The Insulation Armour™ technology retains heat, saves energy, and keeps the exterior cool to touch. It is made of durable polymer that is dent, impact, and stain resistant. The cabinet has molded-in hand holds for easy mobility.
The cabinet is available with either solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors. Full-height cabinets can have full-length or dutch-style doors. Clear doors allow visibility of the contents without losing heat.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. They feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Optional accessories include a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) for insulation. It has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan, high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, and polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release.
