The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, half-height insulated cabinet with a removable bottom mount control module. It has a thermostat that can reach up to 200°F and fixed wire slides on 3" centers, allowing for (8) 18" x 26" or (16) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pan capacity. The cabinet is made of aluminum and has 5" casters, with 2 of them having brakes. It operates on 120v/60/1-ph, with 1440 watts and 12 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with three slide styles for maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers the option to choose between standard high wattage or low wattage models based on specific needs. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components for a long life of worry-free use. It provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The Insulation Armour™ technology used in this cabinet retains heat, saves energy, and provides a cool-to-touch exterior. It is available in Red, Blue, or Gray standard colors, with other colors available upon request. The cabinet can be equipped with solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors. Clear doors allow visibility of the contents without heat loss.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Optional accessories for the C5™ 3 Series include a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) for insulation, with a smooth polymer drip trough and catch pan. It has high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, and a polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release. The hinges are field reversible, double hinged, with a 180° swing and long-life nylon bearings.
