The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach up to 200°F. The cabinet can hold either (8) 18" x 26" pans or (16) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans on fixed wire slides. It is made of aluminum and has 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet operates on 120v/60/1-ph and has a wattage of 1440 watts and an amperage of 12 amps. It is cULus and NSF 7 certified.
The cabinet comes with three slide styles for maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers the option of high wattage or low wattage models depending on the specific needs of the application. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components that provide a long life of worry-free use. It features a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system for fast heat-up and recovery.
The cabinet is available in three colors: Red, Blue, or Gray. It is insulated with patented Insulation Armour™ technology, which retains heat, saves energy, and provides a cool-to-touch exterior. The insulation is made of durable polymer that is dent, impact, and stain resistant. The cabinet also has molded-in hand holds for easy mobility.
There are two door options available: solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate. The clear doors provide visibility of the contents without the need to open the door and lose heat. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are also removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
The C5™ 3 Series offers various options and accessories, including a travel latch, 6" casters, a small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, a flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
