The Krowne Ice Bin is a drop-in ice bin with a capacity of 50 lbs of ice. It has a 10" deep stainless steel liner and is fully insulated. The stainless steel top includes a sliding cover. This ice bin is NSF certified and requires a cutout of 18-1/4" x 13-1/4". It is also available with a cold plate option (see D278-7). The standard features of the drop-in ice bin include a 20 gauge stainless steel interior, a sliding cover made of two pieces of 20 gauge stainless steel, and plumbing options. For the cold plate option, it has a 1/2" IPS drain connection, while for the no cold plate option, it has a 1" IPS drain connection. The cold plate itself is made of cast aluminum and has seven circuits, each made of 5/16" OD stainless steel tubing. The cold plate also has bump and swedge fittings on the ends. The mobile ice bin has a front apron and sides made of 20 gauge stainless steel. It has a 1" IPS drain connection with a shut-off valve for plumbing. The ice bin interior is made of 20 gauge stainless steel and is 12" deep. An optional sliding cover, called MB-SC, is available for the mobile ice bin.
