The Kolpak KF7-088-FR Kold-Front Walk-In Freezer is a highly efficient freezer with ample storage space for frozen inventory. It is equipped with the ArcticFox Temperature & Air Defrost Control, which combines the functions of a thermostat and defrost timeclock for easy control. This indoor/outdoor remote unit measures 90 inches tall, 93 inches wide, and 93 inches deep, with a .100 smooth aluminum floor. The freezer features a 2 hp. low temp (-10F) compressor with pre-charged KPC198LZOP, and operates at 15.1 amps, 208-230/60/1. It also includes the KEL16-049-2EC-PR-8, which has a 0.5 Fan amps and 4.9 Htr amps, operating at 208-230/60/1. The interior and exterior are made of 26 ga. embossed galvalume, and the floor is made of .10 smooth aluminum Era floor. It also comes with a 2" dial thermometer. The ArcticFox Temperature & Air Defrost Control is designed for medium temperature applications of 35°F and higher. It has a built-in defrost clock for time-initiated and time-terminated defrost cycles. The controller's relay controls the refrigeration and defrost cycles. For low-temperature applications, the ArcticFox Temperature Control provides a user-friendly thermostat. It also includes a battery-powered clock for proper operation after power is restored. The ArcticFox Temperature & Air Defrost Control has additional features such as visual alarming for high temperature, low temperature, and sensor issues. It also has off-time defrost on schedule or custom defrost, and compressor protection with maximum starts per hour. The control also includes a service call saver and a post defrost indicator to prevent unnecessary service calls. The hardware of the control includes Modbus terminals, a 4-button user interface, a 3-digit 7-segment display, and a relay for solenoid/compressor. The space temperature sensor is supplied with a 45-inch lead and controls the room's temperature. The control also has RS-485 Modbus communication. In case of alarms, the ArcticFox Controllers notify the user with an illuminated amber LED and display the appropriate alarm code. These codes include OSA for Open Sensor Alarm, SSA for Shorted Sensor Alarm, LtA for Low Temperature Alarm.
