The Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine is part of the Elevation Series and is a modular cube ice maker that uses a remote condenser. It has the capacity to produce a maximum of 525 lbs of half-dice ice in a 24-hour period under favorable conditions. For every 100 lbs of ice produced, it consumes 19.6 gallons of water and 6.21 kWh of power. This particular model operates on a 115v/60/1-ph voltage configuration and draws 20.1 amps of current. The internal parts of the ice machine that freeze water into ice are made from food-grade BPA-free plastic. These parts are snap-together and can be assembled and disassembled without the need for tools. They can also be placed in a dishwasher for easy cleaning. The Smart LED feature alerts operators when cleaning is necessary. Key components of the ice machine are coated with Agion® to prevent microbial growth that could affect the taste of the ice between cleanings. Standard features of the Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine include a space-saving design that is 30" wide, the ability to produce up to 620 lbs of ice per day, and a Universal Smart Harness™ control board that simplifies installation and servicing. The machine also has a unique dual exhaust system that allows hot air to be discharged from both the side and top of the unit, increasing installation flexibility and reducing the risk of obstructed exhaust. In terms of energy efficiency and environmental impact, the Ice-O-Matic Ice Machine is up to 20% more energy efficient than other models and exceeds the new 2018 DOE regulations. It also features environmentally friendly components, including BPA-free plastic and recyclable parts. For sanitation purposes, the ice machine has simple one-touch controls for sanitization and descaling. The BPA-free plastic components can be easily removed and cleaned in a dishwasher. The built-in Agion® coating provides antimicrobial protection. The Smart LED light indicates the machine's status and alerts when cleaning is required.
