The Hobart PD-35 Power Drive Unit is a table model made of stainless steel. It is specifically designed to be used with the Hobart 9" vegetable slicer attachment for slicing, shredding, or grating cheese and vegetables. The unit is equipped with a heavy-duty 1/2 hp motor that operates at 350 RPM and uses a voltage of 115/60/1. It has dimensions of 17" tall, 19-1/2" wide, and 12-5/8" deep. The Power Drive Unit features a number of standard specifications including a 1/2 hp motor, a No. 12 size hub, a stainless steel housing, a poly-V belt transmission, and a hardened steel output shaft. It also comes with a six-foot 3-wire cord and plug, a satin finish stainless steel cover, and cast aluminum legs on neoprene pads. The unit is available in two different RPM options. The PD70 model operates at 700 RPM and is suitable for use with the 9" vegetable slicer attachment for vegetables only. The PD35 model operates at 350 RPM and is suitable for use with the 9" vegetable slicer attachment for both cheese and vegetables.
