The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a rectangular, non-insulated unit made of stainless steel construction. It comes with a drain and auto-fill feature, allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance. The well can be mounted either on top or bottom and has a remote thermostat with a separate power switch. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
The standard features of this heated well include EZ locking hardware for quick installation, low wattage options (120V only), easy service access to heating elements and thermostats, and the ability to hold steam table food hot and fresh with precise temperature control. The well is available in a full-size pan and has accessory mounting kits for combustible countertops. It also has the option to convert to hold round pans.
The well is designed with durability in mind, featuring thicker stainless steel construction and solid brazed joints. The thermostat controls read the actual temperature of the well and add heat only when needed. It can be purchased with or without a drain, with the drain option having a 50% larger drain with a flat screen for easy cleaning and to hold pans level. The controls feature a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial for easy operation and preset temperature maintenance.
There are several options available for this heated well, including different control box options, control box bezel in designer colors, and left or right water fill hole options. Additional power supply lead wire is also available for purchase.
Various accessories are available for this heated well, including rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in different heights, round food pans, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets, adapters to convert warmers to hold round pans, support bars in different lengths, and mounting kits for thick or combustible countertops. Additionally, there are ¾" ball valves and gate valves available for units with drains, as well as a heated well remote handle for ¾" drains.
