The Drop-In Heated Well is a rectangular unit with a drain and can hold four 1/3 size pans. It has a top-mounted remote thermostat with a separate power switch. The construction is made of stainless steel and has low wattage. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified. The standard features of this heated well include convenient 4/3-sized wells for holding heated foods at safe serving temperatures. It has a larger drain, more consistent holding temperatures, heavier stainless steel construction, and an easier-to-service design for quick component changes. The unit also comes with a remote thermostat with a separate power switch. There are options for low, standard, and high wattage, as well as uninsulated or insulated rectangular 4/3-size wells. Accessory mounting kits for combustible countertops are available. The design allows for easy access and quick changes of the element or thermostat. Adapters are also available to convert the wells to hold round pans. The unit can be purchased with or without a drain, with the drain option offering easier cleaning with a larger drain and flat screen. The thermostat controls are superior and read the actual temperature of the well, adding heat only if needed. The controls feature a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial, allowing preset temperatures to be maintained. There are various options available for the control box, including different thermostat options and control assemblies. The control box bezel is available in different designer colors for specific control assemblies. There is also an option for left or right water fill hole placement. Additional power supply lead wire is available in one-foot increments. Accessories for the heated well include rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans, round food pans, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets, plated wire trivets, support bars, ball valves and gate valves for units with drains, mounting kits for combustible countertops, and a heated well remote handle for drains. There is also an adapter available to convert the warmers to hold round pans.
