The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a rectangular, full-size pan that is insulated and can be mounted on top or bottom. It features a remote thermostat with a separate power switch and is constructed with stainless steel and aluminized materials. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
Some standard features of the Hatco insulated Built-In Heated Wells include a larger drain with a flat drain screen, more consistent holding temperatures, heavier stainless steel construction, and an easier-to-service design for quick component changes. It also comes with EZ locking hardware for quick installation.
The heated well is available in low, standard, and high watt options. It has an insulated rectangular full-size well and can be mounted on top or bottom. There are also accessory mounting kits available for combustible countertops, as well as adapters to convert the full-size well to hold round pans.
The design of the heated well allows for easy access and quick changes of the element or thermostat. It is constructed with thicker stainless steel and solid brazed joints for durability. It also features a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial for easy operation.
The heated well can be purchased with or without a drain, and the ones with a drain are easy to clean with a larger drain and a flat screen. The wells are fully insulated on the sides and bottom to ensure better heat retention and cooler surrounding surfaces for customer safety.
There are various options available at the time of purchase, including a mounting bracket for insulated bottom mount models, an optional cord for top mount models and bottom mount with autofill models, and additional power supply lead wire in one-foot increments. Control box options include a standard thermostat with a 6-foot capillary, WM control assembly replacement, ITC control with large control, and larger recessed thermostatic control.
The control box bezel is available in designer colors such as black, navy blue, warm red, gray granite, white granite, hunter green, and antique copper.
Accessories for the heated well include rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in various heights, round food pans in different sizes, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets in full-size and half-size, an adapter to convert warmers to hold round pans, mounting kits for thick and combustible countertops, support bars in 12-inch and 20-inch lengths, and various valves and handles for units with drains.
