The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a versatile and efficient piece of equipment for keeping hot food at safe serving temperatures. It has a capacity for (5) full-size pans and features drains and an auto-fill function. The well is insulated and top-mounted, with a remote thermostat that has a separate power switch. It is constructed with stainless steel and aluminized materials, making it durable and easy to clean. The well is cULus and UL EPH Classified, as well as ANSI/NSF 4 certified. It is proudly made in the USA.
Some of the standard features of this heated well include EZ locking hardware for quick installation, longer holding times with more accurate temperatures, and a unique design that allows for quick changes of the element or thermostat if needed. It also comes with a 6' conduit for convenient placement of controls, a 50% larger drain with a flat screen for easy cleaning, and solid brazed drain fitting joints for durability. The separate lighted On/Off rocker switch and temperature dial make operation easy.
There are several options available for this heated well, including stud mounting or surface hole mounting to the countertop, three-phase wiring (excluding HWBI-1 series or export voltages), a 27" D bezel for modular units to match Hatco CWB models in a countertop display, and a copper drain manifold with side or bottom exit (excluding 120V units, HWBI-1 or HWBLI-1 Series). There is also a cord option available for specific models.
Various accessories are also offered for this heated well, such as rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in different heights, round food pans in different sizes, hinged and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets in full-size and half-size, plated wire trivets in full-size and half-size, an adapter to convert warmers to hold round pans, support bars in different lengths, an external copper drain manifold with individual shut-off valves per well (only for units with individual drains), and ball or gate valves for units with drains. Additionally, there is a heated well remote handle available for ¾" drains.
