The Drop-In Modular Heated Well is a versatile and efficient piece of equipment for keeping hot food at safe serving temperatures. It has a capacity for four full-size pans and is made with stainless steel and aluminized construction. The well is insulated and top-mounted, with a remote thermostat that has a separate power switch for easy operation. It is cULus and UL EPH Classified, as well as ANSI/NSF 4 certified. This product is proudly made in the USA.
Some of the standard features of this heated well include EZ locking hardware for quick installation, longer holding times with more accurate temperatures, and a unique design that allows for quick changes of the element or thermostat if needed. It also has a 50% larger drain with a flat screen for easy cleaning and to hold pans level. The stainless steel construction and solid brazed drain fitting joints ensure durability. The separate lighted On/Off rocker switch and temperature dial make operation simple.
There are several options available for this heated well, including stud mounting or surface hole mounting to the countertop. Three-phase wiring is available for most models, except for the HWBI-1 series or export voltages. A 27" D bezel is available to match Hatco CWB models in a countertop display. Copper drain manifolds with side or bottom exits are available for most models, except for 120V units or the HWBI-1 or HWBLI-1 series. A cord is available for certain models, such as the HWBLI-2, -3 or HWBI-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6 (single phase/single control box only, not for export voltages).
There are also various accessories available for this heated well, including rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in different heights, round food pans in different sizes, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets in full-size or half-size, plated wire trivets in full-size or half-size, adapters to convert warmers to hold round pans, support bars in different lengths, external copper drain manifolds with individual shut-off valves per well (only for units with individual drains), and ball or gate valves for units with drains. Additionally, there is a heated well remote handle available for ¾" drains.
