The Drop-In Heated Well is a round, 7-quart unit with a drain and a top-mounted, remote thermostat with a separate power switch. It is made of stainless steel and is proudly manufactured in the USA.
This heated well is designed to hold steam table food hot and fresh. It features self-adjusting thermostats that read the actual temperatures and only add heat when needed. The unit also comes with EZ locking hardware for quick installation and can be used for both wet or dry operation.
For easy service access, the heating elements and thermostats are easily accessible. The heated well is available in standard or high watt options, with the standard watt option available for the 4-quart size only.
The unit is available in 4-, 7-, and 11-quart sizes and comes with a 50% larger drain with a flat screen for easy cleaning and to hold pans level. The controls feature a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial, allowing preset temperatures to be maintained.
Optional accessories include a Control Box Assembly, WM Control, Compact with Bezel, ITC Electronic Control (not available for 4-quart size), and a Larger Recessed Thermostatic (standard for export voltages).
The Control Box Bezel is available in various designer colors, including Black, Navy Blue, Warm Red, Gray Granite, White Granite, Hunter Green, and Antique Copper.
Additional accessories include a thermostat with a 6-foot capillary, round pans in various sizes, notched lids, hinged lids, and units with drains (available with a ¾" NPT ball or ¾" gate valve).
For mounting to thick countertops, a kit with 4 brackets is available. There is also a mounting kit specifically designed for combustible countertops, which does not include conduit.
