Introducing Hatco's innovative Hot/Cold Built-In Shelves (patent pending), designed to provide ultimate flexibility for your operation. These shelves are available in our signature Hardcoat or Swanstone® materials, allowing for seamless transition between heated and cold storage.
The Hot/Cold Shelf construction utilizes R-404A refrigerant and comes with an Electronic Temperature Control and Condensing Unit. With a patent pending thermal break, condensation and temperature transfer are significantly reduced. The shelves are also designed for easy serviceability, featuring a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, and a receiver.
The condensing unit can be mounted up to 4' (1219 mm) away from the center of the shelf, providing flexibility in installation. The control box can be conveniently mounted on the front of the cabinet, 4' (1219 mm) from the center of the shelf. The long, flexible copper refrigerant line allows for easy service and installation, with the ability to pull out the condensing unit.
The shelves can switch between hot and cold modes in as little as 30 minutes, allowing for quick changes during different day parts. The Hardcoat aluminum models (HCSBF) are top mount, while the Swanstone® models (HCSSBF, HCSSB) are bottom mount and flush with the counter top.
For a cohesive look, the HCSBF Hot/Cold Shelves match the GRSBF Heated Built-In Shelves, the HCSSB Hot/Cold Shelves match the GRSSB Heated Built-In Shelves, and the HCSSBF Hot/Cold Shelves match the GRSSBF Heated Built-In Shelves.
Additional options include choosing a Swanstone® color of base for HCSSBF and HCSSB models, such as Gray Granite, Bermuda Sand, or Night Sky (Standard).
Accessories available include a silicone gasket for Swanstone® installation, as well as silicone gasket and gray or black silicone options for Swanstone® installation.
To provide added peace of mind, a four-year parts only warranty on the compressor is available for purchase at the time of purchase (U.S. and Canada only).
