Experience ultimate flexibility with Hatco's innovative Hot/Cold Built-In Shelves. These shelves, available in our signature Hardcoat or Swanstone® materials, can easily transition between heated and cold settings. The Hot/Cold Shelf construction utilizes R-404A and comes with an Electronic Temperature Control and Condensing Unit. Our patent-pending thermal break reduces condensation and temperature transfer. The shelves can be easily serviced with a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, and a receiver. The condensing unit can be mounted up to 4' away from the center of the shelf, and the control box can be mounted on the front of the cabinet. The long, flexible copper refrigerant line allows for easy service and installation. The shelves can switch between hot and cold modes in as little as 30 minutes, making it convenient for different day parts. The Hardcoat aluminum models are top mount, while the Swanstone® models are bottom mount and flush with the counter top. For an integrated look, the Hot/Cold Shelves can be matched with our Heated Built-In Shelves. Options include different Swanstone® colors for the base, such as Gray Granite, Bermuda Sand, and Night Sky. Additionally, there is an option to purchase an additional four-year parts-only warranty on the compressor. Accessories available include silicone gaskets for Swanstone® installation in different colors.
