Optional features include a portable model with a cord and plug, an angled food stop to keep products on the heat zone, and different lengths ranging from 24 inches to 72 inches. The built-in models include a control box with conduit and cord and plug. It is recommended to use the built-in models on metallic counters, and for other surfaces, it is important to verify their suitability for high temperatures. The shelf can reach temperatures up to 200°F for the Standard Built-In model and up to 257°F for the High Watt Built-In model.
